Bands

Grid bands combine several columns with a common meaning.

Grid bands

A band can easily be manipulated to change the layout of the grid view. You can move bands to another position by dragging their band headers. The columns within the band can change position, but they cannot change band.

Remove bands

Remove bands from grid ViewTo remove a band from the grid view, drag the band to the search results. If the mouse pointer changes into a cross, you can release your mouse button and the band will disappear from the grid. To show the band, use the Band menu to open the Columns customization menu or reset the grid to its default values.

Band menu

The Band menu provides you with several grid view options to display and manipulate the bands. To open the Band menu, click the right mouse button in the band. In the Band menu you can show and hide the ULD rates, change the band and column settings and freeze the bands.

Freeze bands

Band menuCargo Office uses many columns to display the rate information. You can limit the information by hiding the columns and bands. Freezing bands allows you to anchor bands to the grid's left or right side. As a result, horizontal scrolling will not affect such bands. This is useful if you need bands to be constantly displayed, even when you are scrolling up and down.

To freeze a band, open the Band menu at the band you want to freeze. Check the Freeze band left or right button in the band menu. This will anchor the band to the grid's left or right side. The anchored bands are visually separated from other bands by a fixed line. To release a band from the edge, open the Band menu and check the Unfreeze band button.

Customization form

Customazation formThe Customization form displays headers of hidden columns (and bands). To hide a column or a band, you should drag its header to the Customization form. For example, the Customization form is a separate window which can be invoked using the column header context menu. The image below shows the Customization form with grid columns and bands.
